The Post Office Cart

In the XVIII and XIX century the transport of individuals was realized by the post office. The archaic means of transport in which the poor travelers where carried out were thoroughly described, some times with a lot of humor by those who had the chance to arrive at their destination. For understanding the gigantic jump from the post office cart to the modern means of transport in our days, we reproduce a fragment from the workshop of doctor C.D.Severeanu "From my memories"(1853-1928), enthusiastic archaeologist, numismatic and philatelist.

Constantin M. Moroiu -one eternally controversial philatelist.

This dynamic character enriched by now with a strong organizational sense, concerning mainly the opening of new and unthinkable orisons for the Romanian philatelic is considered to be today one of our greatest faker in this area. His greatest and without shadow of doubt achievement have been minimized and some not even reveled.

Constantin Savulescu - the illustrator of the whole and Romanian postcards (II).

In the same time with Romanian Post Office, several Publishing Houses have used between the year 1957 and 1975 a number of 171 negatives for the illustration of some of black and white and colored c.p.i. that were signed by Mr.Constantin Savulescu. The research of the collection of black and white and also colored c.p.i. has given light to the main Publishing Houses which in the period of 1957-1975 have been printed and put into value such master pieces.
