During 5-6th of June 2004 Romania Philatelic Federation organised and hosted the 6th edition of the "International Collectors Fair" an event that took place with the support of World Trade Center Bucharest, Compania Nationala Posta Romana, Alianz -Tiriac Asigurari S.A., Fabrica de timbre, Romfilatelia S.A., Banc Post, Petrom. Ten antique galeries, more than 200 exhibitors and collectors from Romania and abroad took part at this event. During the two days, the event welcomed more than 2000 visitors, well known and beginner collectors, young and old, enthusiasts, dealers or just curious attendans. Deals and trades were done amoung them, the items reaching the entire spectrum of collectors hobbyes: philatelic, numismatic, old books, art (paintings, sculptures, icons) and so on.

      Organized by the Romanian Carto Club (Romanian Card-collecting club) in collaboration with Romanian Philatelic Federation, The Bucharest City History Museum, Lion Club Bucharest Decan, and the online auction site Okazii.ro, "The Collectors' Spring Fair" managed once more to be a great success. To this fair participated over 100 exponents, collectors, numismatist, philatelists, card-collectors, antique book dealers, so to speak all those involved in the collecting phenomenon, presenting a wide range of collector's items from all fields and categories, some rare some common, but all very interested. Over 5000 visitors from the country or from abroad (Bulgaria, Hungary, Ukraine, Italy, France, The Netherlands, Germany and even India) have tread upon the museum's granite cobbled stones for these two days, parting enchanted by the transactions or exchanges performed, by the new contacts and the connections with new partners.

      Organized by the Romanian Philatelic Federation (FFR), with the support of the World Trade Center Bucharest, Intrarom SA, National Company "Romanian Post", Alianz-Tiriac Asigurari SA, Postage Stamp Factory, Romfilatelia S.A., www.okazii.ro - auctions online, and with the active participation of 16 antiquities galleries and over 150 exponents and collectors from all over the country and from abroad. Mass Media was represented by the daily newspapers Adevarul, Romania Libera, Curentul, Independent, Libertatea, Ziua, the magazine Privirea, The television posts: TVR-1, OTV, Antena-1, PRO-TV, Tele 7 abc, Tomorrow Romanian Television, Realitatea TV, TVR International, TVM; the radio posts: Bucharest Antenna and Uniplus Radio. In these two days were registered over 1500 visitors from al circles and social categories, both beginners and advanced collectors as well as people interested out of curiosity. Important transactions and exchanges were made in all fields: philatelic, numismatic, book-collecting, art (paintings, statues, icons), or small collection objects.  Click for photo gallery !
