The highlights regarding the recent FIP Board of Directors Conference meetings report some novelties to be carefully read, especially regarding the updated regulations for the Commissions to hold a FIP Qualifying seminar at both FIP Patronage and FIP Recognition exhibitions. A comparison of the various FIP exhibitions is also presented in order to make clear the differences and implications.

The preparations for the 2026 activities for the FIP hundreth anniversary have started. If you would like to propose to Postal Administrations that the FIP Centenary logo appears on some of their products or if the logo is to be printed on advertisements or publications, please read carefully the related terms of usage.

In this issue of FLASH you will be pleased to read a report on the FIAP 2024 Shanghai exhibition that has attracted more than 100,000 visitors. It is followed by an extensive report about the sucessful FIP Exhibition in Punta del Esta, Uruguay, the first to be held in South America outside of Brazil. Two very well attended FIP Qualifying seminars were also held there.
The next FIP Patronage exhibition is the PHILAKOREA 2025 one, postponed from 2024, and useful details about the preparation are presented. Also Birmingham 2025, under FIP Recognition, with more than 2,000 frames is just about to welcome participants and some last details are presented.

Last November an important FIP-sponsored regional exhibition was held in Thessaloniki, Greece. The twentieth Balkanfila proved to be an interesting and very pleasant exhibition, thanks also to the proverbial Greek hospitality.
